Victoria Principal has emerged as a major force in the entertainment field, starring in movies and television series, as well as producing and writing. It was her work in front of the cameras that led to the creation of her own skin care line.

Victoria's childhood dream was to become an actress. She studied with Jean Scott at the Royal Academy of Drama Arts in London, England. In 1971, she moved to Hollywood, where she landed the role of Paul Newman's Mexican mistress in “The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.” Her performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination for “Most Promising Newcomer.”

In 1995, Victoria was awarded Entertainment Business Woman of the Year. In the same year, she was awarded the NIMA for Best Female Infomercial Producer and Performer.
As a young actress starring in her first major motion picture, Victoria began to experience problems with her sensitive skin. The hot lights and heavy makeup were causing break-outs, and no matter what she tried, the problem seemed to get worse. After consulting with leading skin care experts, Victoria discovered a simple, effective skin care regimen and, before long, her skin looked and felt healthier than ever before.

Victoria decided to share her secret with the world, and in 1991, Principal Secret® was launched. Determined to stay ahead of the latest developments in skin care and cosmetics, in 1996 Victoria broadened the Principal Secret offering with the introduction of her Advanced® vitamin based skin care line. In 2004, Principal Secret debuted the revolutionary anti-aging line Reclaim® using the most current skin care technology available.

Victoria's many acting credits include the role of Pamela Barnes Ewing on “Dallas,” for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for “Best Actress in a Dramatic Series.” She was a guest-star in three consecutive episodes of the NBC-TV series “Providence,” featured guest in ABC TV's critically acclaimed series “The Practice,” and had a starring role in Darren Star's television series, “Titans.” She has produced and starred in numerous television movies.

Victoria's many charitable activities include two years as Honorary Chairperson and nine years as Ambassador to Government of the Arthritis Foundation. From 1995-2001, Victoria was co-chairperson for Victory Over Violence, and currently serves on the board. And, in an effort to help stop domestic violence, Principal Secret® has donated a portion of its proceeds to the Good Shepherd Shelter for battered women and children. Recently, Victoria pledged to donate a portion of Principal Secret proceeds for the next four years to benefit the survivors of hurricane Katrina.
